At Movement First, we literally focus on your movement first by prioritizing the fundamentals. No gimmicks. No magic equipment. No insane promises. Just straight forward coaching for health, fitness, self-reliance, quality living and longevity.


Quality will get you quantity, but it will never happen the other way around...


How many sets and reps did it take you to learn how to do your first squat? It should be difficult to remember because you were likely about twelve-months old.


Mastering movement happens sequentially, not by simply counting and tracking reps and sets. Reps and sets do not determine the true measure of success. We believe true success is measured by the outcome of your ability to move freely. When you can move freely, you can move more. When you move more, envision the outcome of a life spent moving more!

We don’t want you forever...


No offense, but we don’t want to train you forever. One of our primary training goals is to help you develop self-reliance in exercise and healthy living. In other words, we don’t just want you fitter, we want you smarter.


We want you to be able to take the lessons you learn from Movement First and grow with them on your own. We will always be here for you, but if we have done our jobs correctly, you won’t need us like you did on day one.

Movement First Methodology


Movement First combines over two decades of studying, training, coaching and teaching strategies to enhance health, fitness and efficient movement. Our quality before quantity approach prioritizes and provides the proper foundation to build life-long success in fitness, performance, functionality and overall wellness.


Not only do we know what other trainers know, we teach them. We also work directly with some of the top physical therapists and fitness and conditioning experts in the world. This collaboration allows us to specialize and deliver some of the most sophisticated training techniques designed to enhance your health, fitness, sports performance, injury prevention and/or post-rehabilitation.
